ScaleWolf Tech Night Marks a New Stage for Defence and Dual-Use Innovation in Lithuania

Vilnius, Lithuania — ScaleWolf, a dual-use venture capital fund and accelerator, hosted ScaleWolf Tech Night at the Vilnius TV Tower, bringing together defence technology founders, investors, public institutions, and international industry leaders for a first-of-its-kind event in Lithuania.

The evening marked a significant milestone for the Lithuanian defence and dual-use innovation ecosystem. For the first time, real defence technologies, long-term capital, public-sector stakeholders, and major international defence companies were brought together in one place — not for discussion alone, but to enable concrete cooperation and long-term industrial partnerships.

During the event, ScaleWolf portfolio companies PowerUP, LUNA Robotics, Granta Autonomy, Neural AI, and Aktyvus Photonics presented technologies that are already deployed, tested, and scaling across defence and security markets. The presentations highlighted the transition from concepts and pilots to real-world capability development.

A central focus of the evening was strategic partnership building.

ScaleWolf announced EU AI GRID, a cross-ecosystem cooperation platform connecting advanced AI and technology partners, including Neural AI, Embedded LLM, CBRX, Telecentras, and ScaleWolf. The initiative aims to strengthen Europe’s technological sovereignty in artificial intelligence by enabling secure, interoperable, and locally deployable AI solutions. The announcement follows recent international attention on Embedded LLM, a Singapore-based company expanding its AI sovereignty solutions into Europe.

In addition, ScaleWolf introduced a Lithuanian–Ukrainian partnership between Clear Sky, ScaleWolf, and Granta Autonomy, rooted in operational experience and focused on translating battlefield-driven requirements into scalable industrial solutions.

The evening concluded with the formalisation of cooperation between ScaleWolf and Elbit Systems through a Letter of Intent, strengthening collaboration with one of the world’s leading defence technology companies.

ScaleWolf also recognised outstanding contributions across the ecosystem. Elbit Systems was acknowledged for strategic partnership, Granta Autonomy received the Technology of the Year award, Yaroslav Vizniak, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine, was recognised for cooperation, strength, and courage, Antanas Patašius was recognised as the Most Recent Investor, and Aktyvus Photonics was acknowledged for long-term strategic vision.

“ScaleWolf Tech Night confirmed that defence and dual-use innovation in Lithuania is entering a more mature phase — where technologies are deployed, partnerships are structured, and long-term commitment replaces short-term experimentation,” said ScaleWolf Managing Partners.

ScaleWolf Tech Night marks the beginning of a broader set of initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation between startups, industry, investors, and public institutions in defence and dual-use technology development.
